Whether your interests lie in education, fund-raising or community service, the Women's Division can enhance your awareness and understanding of your Jewish community and Jewish heritage…and offers you the chance to meet new people with similar interests.
The Women's Division is composed of dedicated women whose efforts support the philanthropic mission of the Jewish Federation of the Lehigh Valley. This mission is rooted in the spirit of Klal Yisrael, the belief that all Jews are responsible for one another -- particularly for members of our community who are in need.
Many of today's community leaders took their first fledgling steps in community service through Women's Division. With diverse volunteer opportunities, from hands on community service projects, to working on events and programs, to planning educational forums, to participating in the governing process as a board member, Women's Division affords it's participants the opportunity to learn self-confidence in their leadership ability, to develop their skills as planners, facilitators and orators and to establish themselves as respected contributors in the community.
There are many ways to get involved and programs in which to participate:
Many women have found that the personal growth they have experienced through their participation in Women's Division has had a positive impact on their professional careers or on other areas of their lives.
The Women's Division welcomes you and invites you to participate in our activities! We have opportunities for involvement throughout the year.
