Not In God’s Name: Confronting Religious Violence
Using Rabbi Jonathan Sacks’s new book, Not In God’s Name, we will explore the roots of violence and its relationship to religion. How can people who claim religious piety and faith commit acts of “altruistic evil”? How are the Holy texts of the great religions of the world misinterpreted and twisted for political gain and horrific violence?
