Hate crimes are on the rise, yet our ability to address this increase is hindered by lack of information. In 18 more than 80 cities with populations over 100,000 failed to report hate crimes to the FBI. Why are Jews, who make up less than 2% of the population the target of nearly 60% all religious based crimes? what steps must the federal gov't take to encourage accurate hate crimes data collection & reporting.
