The inaugural Philly Jewish Music Festival, a day-long celebration of Jewish music, musicians and culture happens on Sunday, May 17, 2026. Headlined by Grammy Award-nominated artist Matisyahu, the festival includes a diverse slate of international, national and local performers, spanning hip-hop, rock, R&B, singer/songwriter and Mizrachi, Sephardic and klezmer musical traditions. It's a line-up of world music as diverse as the diaspora itself.
Hosted by comedian Eitan Levine, the day’s festivities also include comedy sets, children’s programming from jkidphilly, audience activations and more. Part of Jewish American Heritage Month events, the festival showcases the varied and important musical contributions that Jewish performing artists make to the cultural fabric of Philly and beyond.
