It starts with the primaries and the party lists and it culminates with the formation of a collation to form a majority government. Understanding the Israeli elections is not an easy task, and just when you think you know, a new party is formed and the political landscape changes.

Join us for a brunch to discuss the upcoming Israeli elections with Gil Tamary, "the Israeli Matt Lauer" and Washington Bureau Chief for the Israel Broadcasting Authority.

Tamary is known by virtually every Israeli as a top news reporter. He has worked for Israel Broadcasting Authority and Israel Public Radio, as well "Good Morning Israel," as anchor and chief editor.

He covers a wide range of Middle Eastern issues from the U.S. and conducts exclusive interviews with many dignitaries and political figures, including presidents, secretaries of State, and the head of the World Bank.

$8 per person.

A free Tu B’shvat youth program will run concurrently and additional babysitting will be available.

RSVP by Monday, Feb. 2 to Aaron Gorodzinsky, 610-821-5500, aaron@jflv.org

Co-sponsored by Congregations Sons of Israel and the Community Relations Council of the Jewish Federation of the Lehigh Valley.
