Following a deadly 6.2-magnitude earthquake in central Italy this week, Federation partner JDC is working with the Italian Jewish community to survey the situation and needs on the ground. 400 students at a JDC-supported summer program near Rome are confirmed safe and reports to date indicate that local Jewish communities are unharmed.
