Jewish Federations applaud House passage of bipartisan KIDS Act

Jewish Federations of North America applaud the House of Representatives for passing the bipartisan KIDS Act, an important step toward ensuring online safety for children. The legislation includes four bipartisan bills that Jewish Federations have actively supported throughout the legislative process to improve online security through increased transparency and accountability on digital platforms, expanding educational resources, and providing parents and kids with stronger tools to navigate online risks, including antisemitism and hate.

We are grateful for the House’s commitment to protecting children in an increasingly complex digital environment. As Jewish children and teens continue to face growing levels of antisemitic rhetoric, harassment, and bullying online, these bipartisan measures represent meaningful progress towards creating a safe future for online spaces. Jewish Federations look forward to continuing to work with our partners in the House and Senate on critical issues such as keeping Jewish children, and all children, safe online and combating online antisemitism.
