There are certain facilities and institutions that are essential for a vibrant Jewish community. While synagogues and a school are of the utmost importance, they alone are not enough. The Hebrew Family League has established and maintains the other required institutions: mikvah, kashruth supervision and chevrah kadisha. The Hebrew Family League plays a Valley-wide role in all three of these areas.
