Local gallery owner Santa Bannon will present the work of Norman Rubington, sculptor, painter, collager, printmaker, illustrator, filmmaker and author. Rubington’s career parallels those of some of the great names in mid-20th century art history.
A native of Connecticut, Rubington studied at the Yale School of Fine Arts and the Ecole des Beaux Art in France. He continued working on his art up until the day he died in 1991.
Rubington’s cousin, Ann May Greene, the founding curator of his work since his death, will also speak about the collection.
Cost is $12 for lunch and program, men and women welcome. RSVP to 610-821-5500 or mailbox@jflv.org. Sponsored by the Women’s Division of the Jewish Federation of the Lehigh Valley.
