Karen Arnovitz Grinzaid, senior director of JScreen and an instructor at the Emory University School of Medicine, will discuss genetic issues in the Jewish community and the importance of people learning about their genetics.
Her talk will focus on carrier screening for those who are planning to have children in the future, along with genetic diseases that impact the Jewish community like breast and ovarian cancer.
