A full community day of service that unites volunteers from across the community to raise money for the Federation's Annual Campaign and participate in mitzvah projects.
NEW THIS YEAR: Four teams will engage in some friendly competition to see who can bring in the most money for the 2018 Annual Campaign for Jewish Needs. The winning team will get to allocate $1,000 to the campaign beneficiary of their choice.
Calls will take place in two shifts: 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the JCC. Breakfast and dinner will be provided and each volunteer will receive a team T-shirt.
Mitzvah project volunteers will cook and deliver kosher meals for older adults in the community from 12 to 4 p.m. in the JCC kitchen, in partnership with Jewish Family Service.
PJ Library and PJ Our Way families are invited to join in the action at 10:30 a.m. for fun and giving back. Older children will make cookies for older adults and younger children will decorate bags for the cookies and listen to a PJ story.
The Super Sunday Planning Committee is co-chaired by Brian and Emily Ford and supported by the 12 young community leaders who are participating in the Israel Next Dor leadership development program.
