The Victims of Terror Fund which makes cash grants available to families who suffered severe damage and mental anguish as a result of the Hamas attack on Israel.
ITC’s Southern Resilience Centers have received a minimum of 4,000 requests for emotional help and to provide trauma care in evacuated areas. Demand is nearly three times what was recorded during previous crisis situations. Thirty-two centers have been set up for evacuees from the Gaza Envelope, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and ITC teams are on site assessing needs and providing trauma care in hotels and other centers. ITC is also supporting the teams helping families during the process of identification of bodies and with those who have family members missing.
has approved food vouchers, household items, toys, and medicine enabling families to make emergency purchases for supplies for shelters and safe rooms. (Both JAFI and JDC have also been responsible for the evacuation of families from the Israeli communities bordering Gaza to the center of the country to take them out of the war zone.)
This is a free volunteer Israeli-based emergency medical services organization throughout Israel. Funds will provide EMS volunteers with equipment to save lives and the protective equipment to keep themselves safe. Funds will be used to equip an additional 1,000 United Hatzalah volunteers with protective vests and helmets, oxygen tanks, defibrillators, trauma bandages, and tourniquets.
Grants will be made available to our P2G community based on their needs for security renovations/upgrades in light of the proximity of attacks. Since Yoav is just outside the Gaza envelope, they do not receive government security funding. We will remain in touch with the mayor of Yoav, Natti Lerner, as the needs are assessed.
This means 'direct to the soldier' and provides humanitarian support for Israeli soldiers such as much-needed toiletries, clothing, and other supplies ($5,000 outfits an army unit of 120 soldiers with socks, long underwear, warm jackets).
