The Jewish Federation of the Lehigh Valley was offered a rare opportunity to support education in our community. The opportunity allowed Pennsylvania taxpayers to turn their tax liability into educational scholarships for students in the Lehigh Valley and to assist them in attending the schools of their choice. In return for a two-year commitment to the program, donors receive a 90% credit on their PA taxes for each dollar they donated. Twenty-six individuals and families were able to seize this opportunity by donating over $169,000 to fund scholarships for students at the Jewish Day School.
