Michael H. Hyman, 67, of Toronto, died unexpectedly on June 26, 2025. Born in Hartford, CT, he was the son of the late Dr. Herbert L. Hyman and Mina Hyman. He is survived by his mother, his brother Nat L. Hyman (Erica) of Allentown, his children Aidan, Erin (Eric), and Ben and his longtime companion, Wilma Larratt-Smith.

Michael received his masters in finance from the London School of Economics, was a highly accomplished financial services executive and founded several successful investment firms. He was a former member of the World Health Organization advisory investment committee. Michael was an accomplished author with 4 books published and an excellent athlete, including playing 4 years of college varsity lacrosse at U of M.
