KI 10 AM Shabbat Out of the Box: Qi Gong with Hilary Smith

Qi Gong is a set of ancient Chinese health exercises that use breath, postural alignment, meditation, contemplation, self-massage, and gentle movement. The purpose of the practice is to harmonize the body, mind, and spirit so the whole organism comes into a state of balance. These practices are popular around the world and are utilized by people of all faith traditions. We’ll spend our time together with some history of Qi Gong and its role in Chinese medicine and then have a gentle practice so you can feel the benefits for yourself.
